Overview

The prospects for continuing life on Earth in the year 2058 are grim. So the Robinsons are launched into space to colonize Alpha Prime, the only other inhabitable planet in the galaxy. But when a stowaway sabotages the mission, the Robinsons find themselves hurtling through uncharted space.

**_Thirty years after the TV show, Lost in Space debuts at the cinema_** In 2058, Professor John Robinson (William Hurt) and his family (Mimi Rogers, Heather Graham, Lacey Chabert, etc.) take a mission to travel to the nearest inhabitable planet to set-up a hypergate so humans can easily transport there. At the last minute, a hotshot flyboy is assigned to pilot the Jupiter II (Matt LeBlanc).
